Let's return to Summer

On this cold winter day, temperatures hovering around 20 degrees -my thoughts return to the summer day when I photographed Reanen for her senior photos. I realized I never blogged her story and images. So here goes, this should warm us up. It was a late Summer afternoon day with temperatures around 92 degrees and roughly 100 percent humidity. I only had to get out of the car to start sweating! I met Reanen and her Mom, Wendy at our local park named Neahwa Park in Oneonta, NY. There I had found this wonderful small stream that made a perfect backdrop for the first of Reanen's photos. As we were walking to our next location across the bridge we noticed the train was coming, so we used it as the next backdrop. Please note that the train looks closer than it actually was. In talking with Reanen she had mentioned she brought her school uniforms for soccer, baseball and basketball. Luckily the park had a soccer field, a basketball court and a baseball field. Once again, the perfect backgrounds. We had a great time changing outfits and uniforms and to make a long story short, we enjoyed it all. Who says you can't have a great time on a Hot, Steamy Day in August!
